|
|
| Does anybody know the whereabouts of a center inlet (early type) tr2 radiator with a long filler neck. I assume I will have to get it recored. Al Christopher |

| Is this different than a common TR3 radiator? I have heard that early TR2's had no extension for the radiator cap, but never saw one. Sure would be inconvenient without it. Anyway, there are TR3 rads a lot on ebay, but are they different than what you need? |

| Yes, they are different, the early tr2 (up to comm. no. 1200) had the upper hose connection about 2 inches closer to the filler neck than the later tr2 through tr3a radiators. The very first tr2's (up to about ts4 or 5 had a filler neck on top of the thermostat housing instead of the top of the radiator. Very strange looking. The one I am looking for has a filler neck on the radiator and has the upper hose connection closer to the filler neck. Al Christopher |

| I am trying to reach Dale in Ontario. Do you still have the early type TR2 radiator? If so, I would like to give it a good home in TS.580.L, my car. |

| Just a suggestion: If you have an earlier radiator with the proper neck but the radiator is shot, could you attach the earlier neck to a later TR rad (assuming the rest of the rad is the same as early TR2). Will |
