Based on a metro!!
Bloody cheek.
It was the mid 60's forerunner of the Dolomite/Toledo, looked like a mini version of a Mk1 Triumph 2000.

I recently bought a 1300 TC to restore (or rather to get back on the road.)
I have come across a very stupid problem: I don't understand how to remove the letters on the hood (it is damaged and needs to be straightened out and repainted). Any ideas?

If it's the same as other Triumphs I've come across, you'll have to prize them off carefully using a screwdriver or a tough blade.
You'll probably find that the letters have a couple of prongs that fit firmly into holes in the bonnet. When you've finished, you'll need to stick them back in with glue.
